Parragon Book Buddies - Sleep Puppy

This week Maxwell was sent something very exciting in the post, something which I know he would enjoy and love. As part of the Parragon Book Buddies we are sent a different book to look at and review each month. This month we were sent a book from the Little Learners range - Sleepy Puppy.


When we received Sleepy Puppy we were surprised it came in a little gift box. Inside the box was a lovely board book and a soft toy in the shape of a puppy. Just looking at the box and the contents I knew this would be the perfect gift for a little one, just before Christmas.


Just before bedtime Maxwell and I sat down and looked through the book together.  The book itself contains a lovely lullaby which makes it a perfect read just before bed. The lullaby is about a little puppy who is going to sleep. The book itself is quite short with lovely pictures and a little wording. It is easy to follow and as Maxwell continues to grow I hope he will be able to start reading it himself.



The book itself is well made with the boarding being very thick. In recent months Maxwell has managed to break some of his books as they have been very poorly made and the board has been very thin however this is not the case with Sleepy Puppy. The soft toy  is a perfect snuggle blanket to accompany your child to bed. The toy is very soft and is washable. I love the idea of including the blanket with the book as I believe Maxwell can associate the 2 together.


Overall I would reccomend this book highly to parents. It is the perfect gift to your child to help them settle at bedtime. If you are looking for more tittles for your children to read why not head over to the Parragon website to find out what other books they have in the little learners range.
