Maxwell went straight ahead and opened the Kinetic Sand Box Sandcastle box. The Kinetic Sand Box Sandcastle set comes with 1lb of sand, 3 moulds, a beach tool, and a sand tray to play in. The set also came with an information leaflet. The set was very bright and appealing to Maxwell. Maxwell loved the fact that the Kinetic Sand Sandcastle set which we were sent came with purple sand.
Maxwell sat and played with the set for around 2 hours when he first got his hands on the set. Maxwell was able to mould the sand, pull it, sprinkle it, shape it and have lots of fun with it. The sand did not make a lot of mess thanks to the tray that was included in the set. When Maxwell did drop the sand, the sand did not stick to the carpets, Maxwells clothing and on Maxwells hands. The sand instead stuck to itself which made it much easier to clean up and manage.
Maxwell loved moulding the sand into shapes and enjoyed using the moulds which came with the Kinetic Sand Box Sandcastle set. I found that the set helped Maxwell use his imagination and helped his creativity. I feel that Kinetic Sand could be used as a fun learning tool.
I feel that the Kinetic Sand Box Sandcastle set would make a great gift for your child. It is a set which is perfect for anyone new to Kinetic sand or someone that loves Kinetic sand and wants more accessories to add to their collection. This set is suitable for boys and girls and is perfect for ages 3+.
I was happy to see that the Kinetic Sand never dries out. This means that it can be used over and over again and it will not have to be binned after it has been used a few times. It is a set which keeps giving until your child has no further interest in it.
